This was the first event we covered for Pooja. They started with the Ganesh Pooja ceremony, then went on to have the pithi ceremony, where Pooja’s friends and family rubbed her with a past made with chickpeas and flour.

Overall it was a great day. even though it got a bit hot outside, it was fine as we were indoors most of the time and there was a constant, cool breeze in the hills of Anaheim. Everyone had a blast covering Pooja up with paste during her Pithi. It was really fun capturing these moments.
