Located in OC, California, AAcreation Photography specializes in South Asian Wedding Photography, Video and Cinematography.  We strive to capture beautiful emotions experienced at events in an aesthetically beautiful manner  while still keeping your culture and customs in mind.  We are different from other companies in that we aim to add an artistic touch to traditional weddings. When it comes to professional photography and Video we firmly believe customers come first. We understand what a monumental event your wedding is, and are usually as emotionally connected as the family itself.  On top of our Photography and Video services we offer several additional components unique to our company which we promise will blow your mind away!

While you may have met Ahmed, you may have not met the rest of the team. This team helps make the magic happens behind the scenes and on the field (during your wedding)! After we get done capturing your day with photo and video, the work goes back to our studio space/office/dungeon(where I’m working out of) where it gets touched up. After hours and hours of rigorous work and numerous cups of coffee, the final product is finished and delivered with a hand-written card (we keep it classy).

A portrait of the man, the myth, the photography legend, Ahmed Ahad.

“Big Boss”. Sounds scary right? Well, you’re wrong. Ahmed studied computer animation and visual effects in college even though his desire was to work in the film industry. Interning at Atari right after graduation lead him to work on some amazing projects like Spider Man 3 and The Matrix computer games. Despite his success in the industry he decided to move towards the Photography and Video Market, which had been a hobby for a while and was somewhat triggered by the lack of talent/services available at his own wedding and in the field in general. He felt the emotions and actions experienced at South Asian Weddings were an integral part of the event and in telling the Couple’s story, and believed they weren’t being fairly justified in the work produced. Thus began AAcreation and the aspiration to fuze traditonal South Asian photography with the western world. Alongside Amaya, he has an 11 year old son, Noor. Both of whom are the the driving force behind the talent that is AAcreation.

Why Photography? She started for fun in High school which inspired her to continue in the field of photography landing her first job as a photographer’s assistant. Lindsay’s been an integral part of AAcreation for almost two years now where she first began as an intern and now is one of our advanced Photo Editors, 2nd/Lead Shooters and phenomenal Singer (depending on her mood!)

As well as being a partner at AAcreation, Mehreen is also known as Ahmed’s better half. Their love story began around the same time as AAcreation and both have been going strong ever since until baby Amaya came into the picture and stole all the attention with her contagious smile.

Saher began her career concentrating in advertising in Amman, Jordan; where she grew up. Heading to the U.K for college introduced her to an addictive world of creativity and imagination convincing her that this was her true passion in life. She has been part of the AAcreation team for over a year now and works as a Video Editor. She loves eating candy and bullying junior colleagues (a.k.a Adam).

Adam, our youngest and only other male team member has always been passionate about graphic design. An intense one on one conversation with Ahmed confirmed that he perfectly fit in at AAcreation. Soon he’ll be celebrating his one year anniversary as a Video Editor.

Our newest addition to the team, Liz.

Originally from Bakersfield, CA, Liz is a current graduate from UCR with a BA in Art History and Business. Having studied different forms of art, she decided to join the AAcreation team to broaden her appreciation for the arts in photography. Editing has helped her to view photography in a different light and have a better understanding of its composition. Her free time is usually occupied by drawing, cooking and traveling.
